WHY: ...September's not my best month. Lots of bullshit from school, and a long homework assignment that had me stressing for the entire month, more or less. It took up a lot of my time, writing a short literary piece. It turned out well, though. I suppose that's the point. Haha.
OCTOBER
I have a lot of songs for October, 'cause it was busy. (After all, I did turn 21 on the fifth...)

Get another Boyfriend
WHY: My roommate's boyfriend came to stay "for a weekend" with us in September, and ended up not leaving until halfway through this month. If he were a good guy, it wouldn't have bothered me, but the way he treated her, and the way he treated us, her roommates and best friends since eighth grade! He was an obnoxious asshole, and yet my roommate loves him. The third roommate and I both are trying to understand why, considering this was the friend we had labeled both "The Responsible One" and "The Logical One", and then she goes and does something severely irrisponsible (three guesses as to what that was) with this complete moron - who I also have to point out, probably has about a third of the IQ points that the girl he's dating does.

WHY: Because all those parties were full of it. I don't get drunk, and I've never had a real hangover, but I do like to drink, and will occationally get tipsy. My girlfriend likes to drink, too, and while she gets drunk a little easier than I do, she hadn't had a hangover...well, not until our Halloween party, anyway. XD;; It lasted all day, too. But it was fun. (The parties, not the hangover. That was very unfun. XD)

Why? My daughter moved back out again. She moved in with her boyfriend. This is a good thing, but I will miss her. This also means I won't see my granddaughter as much as I used to. In addition to this, they started talking about possible layoffs at work early next year. Changes are everywhere...

Detroit Free Press interview
This is a really good interview. He tells of his plans to have a new record out by summer and a special show for the first record's one year anniversary. He also says why he joined twitter and discusses future Pork Beans. So check it out if you have a chance.
On the new album he promises there will be more "riff-based guitar and more piano."
Q: Not many artists come out and greet their fans after shows, but you do that pretty regularly. Why has it been so important for you to stay connected to fans?
A: Without them we don't have places to play. We don't have anything. I feel like if I were in that position I would like to know I was appreciated. It's part of the relationship. We want people to feel like they got more than just the collection of songs for the ticket price.
